We started Ritual in 2010 in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, eventually settling in the mountain town of Park City Utah, and traveling the world in search of the best cacao. We fell in love with chocolate—not just the eating part, but the history of and the beautiful stories of small chocolatiers around Europe that would live above their chocolate shops and devote their lives to creating and perfecting their craft. There is something about chocolate that grips people and inspires them. We desperately wanted to be a part of this world and share what we discovered.
Due to its amazing success, our first oat milk white chocolate bar is here to stay. Now a part of our Mountain Line Collection, Desert Sands is back with a brand new design! Inspired by the high mountain deserts of Southern Utah, we have combined oat milk white chocolate, chili beak oil, and crystallized ginger to create a beautiful sandstone colored chocolate with a kick of summer heat. We partnered with our friends at Chili Beak in Salt Lake City, to source their Original Spicy Roast Chili Oil which is a blend of Chile de Arbol, Guajillo & Chipotle peppers. A truly unique bar unlike any others in our line up, Desert Sands has become a favorite among the Ritual Chocolate team. The light creaminess of the white chocolate, with chewy ginger pieces and chili heat, makes this the perfect treat to enjoy with a sunkissed glow after a long day of hiking.
